The annual dining extravaganza, Restaurant Week, offers a chance to sample food at a multitude of Puerto Vallarta restaurants for a special price.

This is the twelfth year for the event and Daiquiri Dick's has been participating since the beginning. Executive Chef Ignacio Uribe, Chef de Cuisine Hugo Mejia and Sous Chef Rogelio Garcia have designed a wonderful menu featuring a cross section of their expertise in a variety of cooking styles.

"We want to show that we can prepare a wide variety of dishes on a regular basis," says Ignacio, "this event is the perfect opportunity for people to sample what our kitchen team can do and at a great price, too."

Restaurant Week runs May 15 to 31, 2016 and the cost of dinner is $349 pesos per person. There are three courses and choices for each course. Dinner is served from 5 to 10:30pm. You select one dish from each category.

Starters
*Summer Salad with Avocado, Papaya and Grilled Mango, with Jalapeño Mango Vinaigrette
*Charred Tomatillo Soup with Parmesan Cheese
*Bruschetta fo the Day with Chef's special Topping

Entrées
*Coriander and Almond Crusted Chicken served with Spinach and Mushroom Ragout
*Salmon Spiced with Harissa and served with Couscous with Mint and Parsley
*Spaghetti with Mushroom and Eggplant Bolognese with Parmesan Cheese

Desserts
*Fresh Fruit Tart
*Coconut Cream Pie
*Chocolate chip Espresso Meringue a la Mode

Daiquiri Dick's Restaurant has an innovative menu which constantly evolves and is characterized as Mediterranean, Mexican cuisine with Asian influences.
